Street Talk February 16 2006

STREET TALK

How do you feel about the 150-unit development planned for Hayesville?

Shirley Forest: The condominiums sound real nice, so that should bring in some nice neighbors. Hopefully, the development won’t bring in more crime in our area.

Al Ruggiano: I’m not sure that many people moving in here have that kind of money, so who could afford it.

Margaret Krivoshia: I’m a little concerned about whether 42 acres can accommodate the development. But if laid out properly it should be a nice addition to the community. It does show Hayesville is growing and that is a good thing.

Dominic Nasco: I feel we need some additional housing choices here in Hayesville. Since, it is a nice development, it should attract nice people to the area.

Mary Kathryn West: I think it is wonderful. It’s nice for people to have another housing option, with less to keep up.

Teri Wingate: I think it will be great for the community, especially our elderly. I hope the development will be built to keep the charm of Hayesville.
